This African giant pouched rat is trained to smell the TNT used in land mines. A rigorous learning process trains the rat to equate the smell of TNT with later being fed. The end result: this happy rat is saving lives while making land productive again by eliminating local fear of land mines. By the way, this rat does not weigh enough to set off a land mine.
