Sunday, Sep 9 — Timisoara
I arrive to Timişoara Nord train station and walk into town. I don’t have accommodation sorted so I waste a lot of time wandering around trying to find a place but all are quite expensive. I settle on a spot near town for €60. I figure the amenities will be nice and I will get a nice rest. Unfortnately I could not be more wrong. I take a shower and wait and wait for hot water, but to no avail. I chat with the front desk and they apologize. Frustrated I take a sweaty walk around town. Timişoara is a nice college town with several main squares surrounded by attracitve central European buildings. I grab dinner at a cafe and meet some fellow patrons.
Monday, Sep 10 — Bus to Budapest
I decide to abandon my Romanian ambitions as the weather is getting cold and I am not prepared. I catch a local train to Budapest, Hungary.
